Bellevue, WA
Bellevue is the fifth largest city and the second largest employment center in Washington. Nicknamed "a city in a park," Bellevue is home to many parks and wooded neighborhoods. The city lies between Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish, and is a short drive from the Cascade Mountains. I-90 and I-405 meet about 3 miles south of town. Seattle is a short 15 minute drive away, and the Microsoft campus is just 10 minutes away in Redmond.
Bellevue was ranked #1 on CNNMoney's "100 Best Places to Live and Launch" in 2008.
Things to do in Bellevue
Visit the strawberry festival, farmer's market or the botanical gardens. Kayak with the family at Mercer Slough Nature Park, a 320-acre wetland area.
